Looking for a private sauna experience, or want to share the heat with friends, colleagues or your wider community? Matchbox Sauna is available for exclusive hire at our peaceful base in Highampton, Devon, or as a fully hosted mobile sauna at your chosen location.

Our wood-fired sauna comfortably seats up to 12 people at a time, alongside our cold plunge for the full contrast therapy experience. We take care of everything — from transport and setup to heating the sauna and supporting your group throughout the session.

Private Hire at Our Base

(Highampton, Devon)

• 1-Hour Private Session
  £80 for up to 10 guests
  £100 for up to 12 guests

Perfect for birthdays, small gatherings, team resets or a more intimate sauna experience.

Mobile Sauna Hire (We Come to You)

For private events, venues, retreats and celebrations, we offer mobile sauna and cold plunge hire across Devon and the South West.

• Half-Day Hire (3 hours sauna use) – £300
• Full-Day Hire (6 hours sauna use) – £500

Travel & Setup

Mobile bookings include transport, setup and hosting.

A travel fee is applied based on distance from our base in Highampton:

• £1.50 per mile (return journey)
• Minimum booking applies for longer-distance hires to account for travel time and setup.

Travel Cost Examples (Mobile Hire)

To help you estimate pricing for mobile sauna bookings, here are a few example travel costs from our base in Highampton, Devon (EX21 5LF):

• 10 miles away → £30 travel fee
• 20 miles away → £60 travel fee
• 40 miles away → £120 travel fee
• 60 miles away → £180 travel fee

For longer distances or multi-day hires, we’re happy to provide a bespoke quote — just drop us a message and we’ll work it out with you.

Please note: Mobile bookings require arrival 2–2.5 hours prior to your session start time to heat the sauna and prepare the space.

Massage with Eva

(Shanti Shanti Massage & Yoga)

Alongside the sauna, Eva offers massage treatments to complement your session.

• 35-minute massage – £30
• 60-minute massage – £50

In the wetter winter months, massages are offered in guest rooms above The Tally Ho! in Hatherleigh.

During the warmer months, treatments take place in our beautiful bell tent, or can be set up indoors at your venue with ease (weather-dependent).
