Our Story

We’re Eva and Josh – travellers, event pros, and lovers of all things wellness. After years on the festival circuit and living life on the road, we discovered the power of contrast therapy. From icy wild swims to wood-fired saunas, we felt how heat and cold can restore balance and clarity. That experience inspired us to create Matchbox Sauna: a mobile sauna bringing recovery and connection to Devon and beyond.

Why Sauna?

For centuries, saunas have been used for healing, reflection, and community. Today, science backs it up — regular sauna use can boost heart health, ease sore muscles, reduce stress, and improve sleep.
